Random thoughts of one seeking her place in the worldPosts RSS Comments RSS

I have to admit, my house is a mess! I won’t take pictures and post them because I’d be too embarrassed for anyone to see how truly bad it is. I’ve tried to do several different “programs” to help me get my house in order, but without the help of my family it really is a lost cause.

Early last year, or late 2006, I found a website called Dandelion Seeds. Amy Verlennichclnhrt.jpg had created a series of lessons to help homemakers with cleaning their homes, but it was more than that. There were also devotionals to help the women clean their hearts, as well. I downloaded the free information, as much as I could, and thought it looked great. Then I set it aside, for any number of reasons - health, I can’t do everything on my own, laziness, procrastination, I wasn’t ready - I didn’t want to deal with the condition of my house of MY heart.

Well, I believe none of those “reasons” are going to fly this time. We’ve been starting our journey down a new road in life, away from “Christianity” toward “Messianic Christianity” (if you can call it that.) We, as a family, are beginning to realize the importance of Torah (the first five books of the Bible) and how all the answers we really need are within those five books. All the rest of Scripture is based upon those books and the wisdom contained therein.

So, my Messianic friend told me about this “great way to clean your house - spiritually and physically.” She said she was planning on using it to clean her home before Pesach  or Passover, which is the beginning of the Jewish year. I thought it was something new so I asked about it. She sent me the link and off I went.

Imagine the look on my face when I went back to that same website I had seen so long ago. I guess Abba (Father) is trying to tell me something. Or, maybe now, I’m just beginning to listen.

Anyhow, my friend and another lady, are going to start doing this “program.” We’re going to wait until the end of this month to start, so we can complete the 50 days just before Pesach begins. If we do it right, we’ll have a clean home and a clean heart, for the new year.

So, are there any other takers? We’d love to have you join us. You can go to the Dandelion Seeds web page to get all the information, download the the materials, and start with us. There are a bunch of people online that started on January 1, and you can try to catch up with them (although they are 3 weeks into it already). At any rate, I hope you’ll take a look. You might just find what you’ve been looking for to help you clean your house and your heart.

I’ll probably blog about how I’m doing once we get started, please let me know how you’re doing, as well.  Be blessed!
