sleepykitty.JPGI’ve been really busy. In fact, I’ve been so busy my days have been continuing into my nights and even into the next day. I got up Thursday at around 7 a.m. and worked until 4:30 a.m. the next day. Then I got up at 8-ish on Friday. I’m so glad I was given a reprieve to spend the weekend with my family.

So, instead of just ME being busy, we’ve been busy this weekend. Friday night we went to see our friends in Scottsboro. We usually eat and then Dawn and I play Scrabble (I won this time.) Then we’ll play some games with the kiddos. This time it was Boggle, Fluxx, and Yahtzee. Unfortunately, we didn’t get home until almost 2, so I was one tired mama when we finally got home and into bed. I think I slept until nearly 10a.m., which I NEVER do. Usually, like Friday, I get up about 7-8-ish.

Yesterday, we went to our Messianic friend’s for Sabbath. We got there about 1:30 p.m. and stayed until 10p.m. While we were there, we shared a meal, had praise and worship, learning, and had a time of fellowship. The more I study and learn about the Hebraic roots, the more I wonder if we’ve been following Christ like we should. I mean, HE followed the Jewish customs, festivals, Sabbaths, etc. Aren’t we supposed to follow in HIS footsteps? If we’re NOT doing the things HE did, have we failed in that walk? I don’t know, I still have more learning to do.

Today we had church and then we lunch with my in-laws. It’s my mother-in-law’s birthday, so we came home for lunch with them. Then hubby and I went back to the church to meet a lady we know there. She’s going to put together a cookbook and has asked me to ghostwrite it for her.  We went back down to the church to meet her and pick up the material for the cookbook. I’m excited to be working on this.

Well, I have seven long documents to edit before Wednesday, so I’d better get to it. I hope you had a great weekend and that you’ll have an even greater week!  Be blessed.
