Can you believe the heat?

I don’t know about where you live, but it’s been uncharacteristically hot here for the middle of June.

I live in Alabama and I expect it to be hot in the summer, but summer doesn’t start for three more days! Friends of mine are talking about their tomato plants dying already because of the heat. They had just gotten some tomatoes off the plants and then the plants are about to croak. What’s up with that?

How about where you live? How are things there? Are you already finding the heat unbearable, too? We’ve been running our air conditioner almost non-stop so I hate to see my electric bill next month. And if congress passes the Cap and Trade bills, we’ll really be in a world of hurt. I guess we’ll have to learn to live with the sweltering heat because it’ll cost too much money to run the air.

Anyhow, that’s my rant. I guess I’m just too hot and needed to vent some of the steam. *blush*
