Here it is already December. Where did November go? Well, I know where it went. I was busy writing (read that typing) my fingers off. I’ve been working for three different companies and I’ve been a-hopping! I appreciate the faith they’ve put in my writing. I’m hoping to start a website of my own sometime soon so I can have a little bit more control over what I write. Here’s hoping I can do it soon.
Have you ever noticed how hard it is to do anything when you have a very animated seven-year-old playing Wii Sports? It’s been hilarious to watch my youngest. He’s jiggling, and jiving, and squirming, and acting so funny. I wish you could see it. So far he’s beaten his Dad and his older brother on boxing, baseball, golf, and bowling. It really is a site to see! LOL
Well, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was pretty nice. We went to my hubby’s aunt’s for the day. Great food, great company, and an all-around pleasant day.
I found out the Sunday after Thanksgiving that my dad was admitted to the hospital. I know there’s not anything that I could have done to keep events from happening the way they did, but I was hit Wednesday night with a pang of “it’s all my fault” syndrome. Thankfully, they figured out what the problem was and he’s home. My mom was so scared, and I was feeling pretty frightened mself. But, one day while he was in the hospital I actually got to pray with my mom. I think that’s the only time I’ve ever done that in my nearly 45 years. Amazing, when you actually think about it.
We had to take my oldest son to get new shoes the other day. Mind you, he’s only 11. He must take after his dad’s side of the family. We had to get him size 13 – yes, 13!!! – shoes. I almost fainted. He’s also wearing his dad’s size 38 waist pants. I’m not ready for him to be that big yet. But what am I gonna do?
Well, I have lots of work to do, it’s getting late, and I’m frustrated that the boys are still up. Tomorrow’s another day and I still have a lot of writing to do to meet deadlines.
Have a blessed Tuesday!
