What do you think about the Banking Bailout?

I’m waivering in my opinion about the Banking Bailout that’s been propsed.  Over $700 BILLION is supposed to keep the economy from going down.  They were saying on FoxNews that this bailout would cost us EACH over $2,000.

I realize that there are many thousands of people’s jobs on the line, but why should you or I have to pay for it?  Can’t the company’s ivolved sell some of their physical assets?  And the CEOs have been making MILLIONS of dollars in pay and bonuses.  Oh, yeah, they’ll have to take a pay cut to $400,000.  That may be a huge cut in pay, but it’s still a lot more than most people in the country make!

And the secretaries at these companies are making $60,000 a year.  I wish my husband made that kind of money!  If HE made that type of money, we wouldn’t be quite so stressed, we’d have a better house, and cars that aren’t over 10 years old.

I know something needs to be done, but there seems to be more that can be done.  I’m not sure what it is, but goodness, why should WE have to pay for it?  I guess what I’m wondering if they’ve even LOOKED for other options.  It doesn’t sound like it.
