Can you believe it?

I looked at the calendar and realized that it’s already September 14, that means the month is already nearly half over!  And, since September is the ninth month, that also means 2008 is almost over.  Where has the year gone?!

You know, it wouldn’t be so bad that time is flying by so quickly if I had something to show for my time.  Unfortunately, there’s not much I can “brag” about getting done this year.  I spent most of it working, which helps the budget, but where’s the fun?

What happened the the great goals of getting my house uncluttered or the kids and I on a schedule for homeschooling?  Where did the time go?!

How about you?  Have you recently realized that time flies by too quickly and that if you’re going to do something you’d better strike while the iron is hot, so to speak?  If you put off doing something one day, you may as well forget about it ever being done.  At least that’s how I’m feeling at the moment.

I have plenty of work to do to keep me busy so I WON’T get the other things that I wanted to do done.  So what do I do?  I guess I keep working and then hopefully start using my “non-working” time more wisely.  Do you have any suggestions on how to do that?  I sure could use some help!
