A day in the life of . . .

I absolutely HATE spam

Unfortunately, a virus or worm or something has staked it’s claim on my yahoo email address. I’m so frustrated because that probably means I’ll have to do away with that email address.   That’s the one I get almost all of my Yahoo Group emails, where I have people send me money for work I do or for items I sell on eBay, and I dread the thought of having to make that type of change.  I really don’t want to think about it.

I’ve sent two emails to Yahoo hoping that they’ll have a way to get rid of the problem from their end, but I’m really not going to hold my breath.  I will be pleasantly surprised if there is some way to undo the problem.  So, in the meantime, I wait.  I wait to see if all of the people who’ve been getting the spam will ever talk to me again.  I’ll wait to see if I’ve lost the people that I’ve been doing business with.  I’ll wait to see if my friends and family are ready to string me up.

More than that, I wait to hear from Yahoo and see what they suggest.  I have to admit, I don’t like HAVING to wait, but I guess I don’t have a choice.

I’ll let you know what I find out, if I find anything out.  The saga begins . . . .
