Indiana Jones Rides Again!

We went to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull last night.  Surprisingly, for a week night, there were quite a few people in the theater.  It wasn’t full, mind you, but there were enough people that their talking was irritating.

You should have seen my youngest son. LOL  At times he was hiding his face behind my arm because “it’s scary.”  At other times he was jumping up and down in his chair, literally.  In fact, I had to threaten to sit on him to keep him in it! HA!

Of course, the hubby and boys thought the movie was great.  There were gun fights, explosions, sword fights – you know, all the things that those with an over abundance of testosterone really like.  I thought it was good, but so much of it just wouldn’t have happened, couldn’t have happened.  For what it was, though, it was fun.

Would I say that it was the “best” of the series? Absolutely not, but it was funny in parts, exciting nearly all the way through, and wasn’t too scary, despite what my youngest son said.  If you’re an Indiana Jones fan, you’ll probably like it.  If you’re not, you’d probably still enjoy it.

Since the temperatures are starting to rise, going to see this movie is a good excuse to get out of the heat.  You may even find you’ve enjoyed yourself in the process.
