A day in the life of . . .
Can’t believe it’s June already

Where has the year gone!?!? I can’t believe it’s already the beginning of June. Well into the first week, in fact.
The old saying says “Time flies when you’re having fun.” I don’t remember having a lot of fun lately. Oh there have been moments of fun all along the way, but not THAT much fun that it would make me lose track of time. *Wink*
There’s no sense in crying about how fast time seems to go these days, I guess it’s my age and the fact that I don’t have the same things to look forward to as I did when I was a child. Christmas has lost its appeal, I’m not in school so I can’t look forward to summer break, and we generally don’t take much of a vacation. So, one day seems pretty much like the next.
We are planning on going camping with our friends from Scottsboro, though. That will be in July. I’m feeling torn about it because I haven’t gone to see my parents yet this year, and I feel we should go there instead of camping. My parents are in Kentucky and we’re going in the opposite direction. I don’t know what to do. I mean, I want to go spend time relaxing away from technology and work so we can refresh, but I feel guilty about not going to see them. Ya know?
Then, we just found out our Messianic friends are going to be moving. We’re not entirely sure when yet, but I’m not happy about them leaving. I wish them well, and pray that they’re able to find a new home quickly, as well as sell this one for a good price. We’re definitely going to miss them and pray that the Lord will guide their steps.
I have lots of writing to do, so I’d better get to it. Have a great Wednesday!

I know you miss your mom… but you definitely should go camping
Seriously, though… in the last three years, you *have* seen your mom a couple times at her house… but you *haven’t* been camping with your Scottsboro friends
I haven’t seen my mom in her house in at least 4 years… I think maybe five.
