Can you believe it?

April is more than half over. That means that the year is almost 1/3 of the way over, too. Man, time sure flies. I don’t remember having that much fun, though. LOL

My kids were supposed to be on spring break this week, but we did it last week. Of course, they didn’t like the fact that they didn’t get a break this week, TOO. But, I guess they’ll have to get over it. I mean, we’re planning on getting out for summer break around May 16th, so they only have  a month left. However, since they didn’t do as well in spelling and writing as I would have liked, I believe we’ll be doing some work during the summer on those two subjects.  I’m sure it’ll meet with resistance, but as the Borg said in Star Trek, “Resistance is futile.”

Can you believe that school’s almost over for the year? Where has it gone? How did your children do? What are your plans for the summer? I’d really like to hear because I’m trying to figure out some great things to do this summer with the kids instead of them just sitting around playing computer games or the Wii.

Well, I’m late writing for today, but I’ve just gotten finished with some work and this is the first quiet chance I’ve had. I hope you all had a great day!
