A day in the life of . . .
I think I can breathe a sigh of relief

This past week has been crazy! I’ve had a deadline to meet each day and think I’ll FINALLY get finished with
everything that I’m supposed to do today. A couple more hours work, and I think I’ll go take a nap! HA!
It’s been very tiring. I’ve worked until 1-2:30 a.m. almost every night this week and I think I need a vacation! But, tomorrow starts another week and another list of “to-do’s” related to work and my kids.
My oldest has a dentist appointment tomorrow, so I guess I’d better lug the laptop with me so I can do some work. Of course, I could take a notebook and a pen, and actually do REAL writing. The only problem with that is that I end up having to do the process twice. Once on paper, then transfer it to the computer. It seems like double the work. I have to admit, though, that a notebook and pen will be a whole lot easier to carry!
So, here’s what I have in store for me next week:
3/17 – Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Listen to WAHM Talk Radio and hopefully Mom’s Talk Radio show before we have to go to the dentist appointment.
3/18 – Write some recipes for a new client that are due the end of the month
3/19 – Do some research and work on a 5-pg. report that’s due 3/24
3/20 – Do some research and work on a 7-9 pg. report that’s due 3/25; do some research for 15 articles, also due 3/25
Of course, that doesn’t mean I won’t have rush jobs tossed my way during the week. So, this is what I KNOW I’ll be working on, along with homeschooling my boys and trying to clean my home.
So, what does your week look like? I try to remember that, amidst all the things to do, my relationship with my family is what’s the most important. I guess that’s why I choose to stay up until the wee hours of the morning so I can spend some time with the kiddos before they go to bed for the evening. Of course, that’s about the only time it’s quiet and I can work, but I’m hoping that’ll soon change.
Have a great week and remember to keep your priorities straight – God, husband, children, work, outside activities. I think that was as much for me as it was for you. Be blessed!
