A day in the life of . . .
Hope you had a great Sunday!

We had an interesting Sunday. We went to visit my in-law’s church (we used to attend there, but left a little over 2 years ago) because they were having an Easter program. It was a very nice program. It was good to see friends. Then we went to their house for Easter dinner.
We had a beef brisket, potato salad, tossed salad, rolls, cantaloupe, honeydew, and cake for dessert. Yum yum, it was good! After everyone stuffed themselves, my hubby and our brother-in-law went outside to “hide” Easter eggs. It was so funny. My father-in-law has a little black car. There were some black “jelly bean” eggs, and my brother-in-law hid them ON the black car. If it hadn’t been for the fact he told us what he did, the kids would probably be STILL looking for those silly eggs. In fact, they missed one. I just hope it wasn’t a real egg instead of one of the plastic eggs. That would be terrible after a couple of days. PHEW!!
My oldest has another dentist appointment today. Hopefully we’ll get finished so I can get back home to get some work done. We’ll see. I have a report and 15 articles due on Tuesday. If I thought I could get away with it, I’d take the laptop with me, but I doubt I’d actually get to use it. Maybe I’ll just take a book instead. I rarely get to read for pleasure lately, and I have a stack of books I want to read.
Well, the kiddos will be up soon, so I’d better get a hoppin’. Lots to do, and never enough hours in the day to get it done. Be blessed and I’ll talk with you soon!
