Are ya wearin’ the green today?

It’s St. Patrick’s Day, are you wearing green, or will you be pinched today?

I don’t really know where the tradition of pinching someone for NOT wearing green on St. Pat’s Day came from, and I’m not sure I really care. All I know is that I’ve been pinched on this day for my entire life (well, maybe not when I was a baby, but soon afterward) and I ALWAYS wear green.

My oldest has a dental appointment this morning, and things are crazy trying to get him to get finished with all he’s doing so we make it on time. Here’s hoping he’ll get done soon. I hate being late ‘cuz the receptionist gives you the evil eye, even for a minute. Of course, it doesn’t matter if we have to wait for an hour before the dentist actually SEES us, we’d just better be there when we’re scheduled for.

I have an easier day, work-wise, and I’m going to enjoy it. It’ll soon be Spring and I’m ready. I have Spring Fever and think I may take the kids to the park for “PE” today after the dentist appointment.
