Reading to the boys

We went to the library and picked up some books the other day. One of the books I’ve been reading out loud to the kids. That way we can all enjoy it at the same time.
Today, since I had gotten everything done that I needed to work-wise, we had a little bit of time. We all piled into my bed and I read 8 or 9 chapters to them. It was relaxing. What was so funny is that one of the boys almost fell off the bed he was laughing so hard at one point.
Hubby had to work overtime tonight. He’s so frustrated in his job. He feels he’s not appreciated. He’s definitely overworked. The only thing that has been making his working there even remotely positive is that he has the opportunity to witness to so many guys there. I’m not sure how many people are Christians, but I know the percentage is low.
I’m glad that G-d has been answering that prayer because I pray that my hubby will have an opportunity to witness each day. Maybe this is his mission field and no one else will be able to reach these guys. It sure would be nice if the Lord would allow him to get a raise while he works on this particular field.
