Where did Monday go?

I just realized this morning, as I slowly woke up at 6a.m., that it was Tuesday. That means some of the things I had planned to do yesterday didn’t get done.

I guess that goes back to my problem with time management that I mentioned yesterday. I have a list of things that I want to accomplish, but don’t ever seem to get them all done on the day I have them planned. For instance, every Monday I listen to Kelly McCausey on Work At Home Talk Radio but for some reason, I completely forgot to do that yesterday. Oh, I know I can go back and listen later, or even to the archives, and I do when I miss it. But it just bothers me that I didn’t get that done. (I have gone back and listened to the show today. I have my list of things to do today. Maybe if I let others know what I hope to accomplish, I’ll actually work harder at getting it done. So, here’s my list:

1. Post on blog (in the process, soon to be done)

2. Listen to WAHMTalkRadio podcast. (done)

3. Edit a website (1 1/2 hours) I actually spent 3 hours on this

4. SEO work (1 hour, more if I have the time)

5. Link exchange emails (1 1/2 hours) I actually spent 2 1/2 hours on this

Well, I think that’s all I want to accomplish today. I’ll try to get back later and let you know how things went.

I’m off to work on my “to-do” list. Hopefully I can come back and change that to a “ta-da” list, instead. Have a great Tuesday!

It’s about 10:30p.m. and I thought I’d come back and let you know how I did with my “to-do” list. Check it out! I actually did pretty good.

Since I didn’t get to item #4, I guess I start with that tomorrow. I feel pretty good about what I accomplished, though, since I did more work than I had planned on getting done.
