Now what?

I heard today that John Edwards was dropping out of the Democratic Presidential run. That’s really scary. It only leaves Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama as potential nominees. They both scare the daylights out of me.
I’m convinced, based on things that Ms. Clinton has said, that if elected she will push her notion that “it takes a village to raise a child.” That means that there will be required daycare for children until they are forced to attend public school. What about a parent’s right to raise their children as they see fit? If Clinton is elected, our very freedom of parenting our children may be in jeopardy.
Obama’s no better, in my opinion. I’m sorry, I can’t shake the feeling that he’s not all he claims to be. If he truly IS a Muslim, as a lot of Conservative Christians believe he is, the changes he will make if he becomes President are more scary than what Clinton could possibly do. If he’s elected, I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t require that everyone revert to Islam. He’ll surely decimate the military and homeland security so that terrorists will not have any problems invading the United States.
I know this sounds extreme, and I don’t want to sound like a “doom sayer,” but I just don’t think that having either of them in the White House will be good for the country.
I also heard that Rudy Giuliani has also dropped out of the Presidential running. That means there are only four “front runners” left on the Republican side - Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Ron Paul. Of course, then there’s also former Ambassador Alan Keyes. No one is even paying attention to him, he’s been ignored by the media, and he seems to be the only person that wants to be President for the right reasons - to help our country survive with all of OUR freedoms intact.
So, what do you think about what’s happening on the “Presidential” front? I’d really like to know.
Be blessed and keep warm. ![]()
