A day in the life of . . .

Yay! I won!

Remember a week ago I told you about a contest that was giving away a My Access! writing program? Well, I got a comment here on my blog that I’d won! I took a look at the program today, and I think it’s going to be a great way to get the boys writing. There’s a place to set goals, and they even let you set awards for meeting those goals. Now all I have to do is think of some fun stuff to have as awards.  Hmm, wonder what I can use? I’m sure the boys will be more than happy to give me some suggestions.

This weekend is the Notebooking online seminar being held by Cindy Rushton.  While I might have to miss part of it, I’m so thankful I was able to reserve my spot because she always “tapes” the sessions and I’ll be able to go back and listen to what I missed at a later date.  If you’re interested, check it out at Cindy’s webpage.  You can still get a ticket, and you don’t even have to homeschool to benefit from the seminar. Cindy’s seminars and workshops are always a lot of fun, so I hope I’ll see you there.

I finished the two keyword articles I was working on. Boy am I glad THAT’s over.  These two were a little more difficult than some of the others that I’ve done.  Well, I guess that’s okay, I need something to challenge me. Besides, it gave me a chance to stretch myself, and the Good Lord knows I need to be stretched at times.

I’m looking forward to the online Bible study I’ve been doing. Last week was kind of tough, about growing up spiritually. I know this is stuff I need to hear, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to attend. I’m sure my toes will be stepped on again, but I think I can take it.
