A day in the life of . . .
It’s Monday – How was your weekend?

I was thinking, because we hadn’t planned on “doing” a lot this weekend, that it would be
relaxing and not at all stressful. Well, I was wrong! Even though we didn’t have a lot planned, it wasn’t as relaxing as I had hoped.
Friday night we went to visit our friends in Scottsboro, AL. It’s about an hour drive from the house, so that part wasn’t too bad. However, the kids argued and fought – like always – but that always makes the evening stressful. The time we spend with them is great, but I really wish that the kids got along as well as us adults. LOL
Saturday, we planned on visiting Messianic friends of ours for Sabbath. It was a great day in the Lord. We talked, and laughed, and learned more about God and our friends. The hubby and I are seriously considering the “Jewish” way as being more what God had in mind. The jury’s still out, but we’re considering it.
Sunday, we only went to one service. It seemed so strange. We weren’t there at 8am, but came in right before the 9am service began. Then, we left. It was really great being able to do that. I didn’t realize how much I missed having the rest of the day to ourselves. However, we went to lunch with my in-laws, then to the store to get a few groceries. It’s amazing that the day wasn’t as relaxing as I would have hoped. I guess we need to learn to let some things go, don’t we?
Well, today I have work to do, and then a class with our Messianic friends. It should be interesting. The kids are looking forward to it, as am I. So, if I’m going to get some work done, I’d better get to it. Be blessed and have a great week!!

Sometimes it is good to let some things go.
I’d love to learn more about the “Jewish” way. I bought a few books from Robin Sampson that I am going to read. Can you reccommend any books?
Hi Amy! Thanks for stopping by. I’m really not the best source for books at this point, I’m just listening to our friends and reading some things online. I’ve heard Bill Cloud is a good source (http://www.billcloud.org) for books and other information.
Congratulations! You are the winnner of the My Access! Contest over on the HSB Company Porch!
