A day in the life of . . .

I’m always interested in saving money, and have been receiving a weekly newsletter called Living on a Dime, written by Tawra and Jill Kellam. They’re giving away some ebooks, so if you’re interested, please check them out at Living on a Dime.

On a different note, I’m surprised I survived today. I’m not used to having to deal with anyone but my two boys on a regular basis, and definitely not by myself.  Some friends are pregnant with child #6. (They won’t find out the sex until next month.)  They asked me to babysit the kiddos while they went to the doctor. No problem, I say, I can do that.

It really wasn’t as bad as it could have been.  Thankfully there wasn’t any fighting, but I’m not sure the McDonald’s play place will ever be the same. Nah, actually it wasn’t so bad. I only had to fuss a little, but it was mostly at mine.  I don’t know if they’ll need me to babysit next month, nothing was said. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
