A day in the life of . . .

I can’t believe I haven’t written

Wednesday was the last day I wrote, and I can’t believe it! I guess I was busy, or lazy, I’m not sure which. I guess that also means my “schedule” that I have been working on isn’t working like I had hoped it would. Sigh – seems to be the story of my life.

We’re headed to the grocery store in a few minutes – which is NOT my favorite place to go. Oh, I like having food in the house to eat, I just don’t like having to deal with the rude people that are in there. And I don’t want to sound like I’m being prejudiced, because I’m not. But lately it seems that the Mexican families are worse than the rest of the people around here. They let their kids run rough-shod all over the place, and since I have problems walking in the first place, these little kids running into me doesn’t make the trip any easier. In fact, it makes it MUCH more difficult, and I can’t even say anything because my Spanish isn’t that good. What am I to do? I just try to avoid them, at all costs.

The weather is finally starting to cool down some – they were even reporting that the highs today are just supposed to be in the 70s. That means that fall will soon be here, thank Heaven. I’m ready for a break from the 90s. Of course, next week the temps are going back up, but I’ll take the break and enjoy it while I can!
