Dentist day

I have to take the kiddos to the dentist today. I believe they’re actually somewhat e
xcited about it, do you believe it?! Our dentist is good, but I’m not sure that I’d be excited. They say it’s because they get to watch cartoons while they are worked on. Come on! It’s not like I keep them from watching cartoons, so what gives? I can’t figure it out. But, if they “want” to go, I guess that’s better than having to drag them kicking and screaming, right?
(Friday, August 3: Just thought I’d let you know, both kiddos had great dentist visits. They got their teeth cleaned and don’t have to go back for 6 months. Yipee!)
TJ headed back to work this morning, and he DIDN’T look excited at all. He really doesn’t like where he’s working, or the circumstances that he seems to be faced with at work. I guess I can understand from his perspective. I’m just thankful he has a job and that we’re not completely destitute. You know?
The worst part of all this with him is that I don’t know how to help. I pray with him each morning before he leaves, but it just doesn’t seem to affect him or his day. I know that God is responsible to make his way easy, or that he doesn’t have to contribute, but it sure would be nice if there were some direction, some sign of what’s going on and when he’s going to come out of this funk that he’s in. I know I’m getting frustrated and I’m trying NOT to let his moods affect me. It’s not easy sometimes.
Oh, I need to tell you, if you don’t already listen to Work At Home Mom’s Talk Radio, you might want to start doing so. Yesterday’s show was about how to make money by blogging. Great show and great information. I’m going to look into doing that, I do believe. Maybe if I earn a little bit of money from doing this, that’ll help alleviate some of my sweetie’s moodiness. I don’t know that it will, but it can’t hurt. 
Well, I have things to do, so I guess I’d better stop for now. There’s lots to do before I have to get the kiddos up and ready, so I’d better take advantage of the peace and quiet while I can.
